Club Jackets Winter Sale Deadline 12/7
Club Jackets are back! In order to process new jacket orders for delivery by the holidays, the deadline to order is this Monday, 12/7. Shop online using our website store (SCNV Shop). Missed out? A Spring Sale for Club Jackets is in the works for next year too.

Please note that our prices includes the $30 embroidery fee. Per USFS testing and competition standards, new club jackets are offered in classic all black color only. Especially for ladies young adult and teenage skaters, please consider the fitted Lululemon Define Jacket Luon model for best fit and maximum durability. Club Ice News
For our Sunday subscribers, there is a “bonus” session on 12/6, then the last session on 12/13. Due to new black-out dates, the Spring 2021 Sunday dates are now:

  • 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/21, 5/9, 5/23, 6/6 of 2021
  • Bonus dates (priced separately): 1/17 and 2/14

Please consider renewing your FS subscription soon for the 2021 Spring session beginning 1/24.

For our Monday Solo Pattern Dance (SPD) subscribers, the test date is set for 1/25, which is also the end of the Fall SPD session. Invitations to the SPD test session registration to be emailed after 12/14. More details on how to register to be posted by early January of 2021.

Winter Holiday Food Drive 12/18
For the Holiday Season, SCNV and its sponsor “The Good Life Team” would like to support the Ecumenical Community Helping Others (ECHO) Holiday Meal Program in our local community with a Gift Card for Holiday meal purchases for ten families. More information about ECHO can be found at ECHO Inc.

Our goal is to raise $425. Here are the ten (10) families’ needs:

Family 2 = $40
Family 3 = $25
Family 4 = $60
Family 5 = $50
Family 6 = $40
Family 7 = $40

Cardinal Classic & Club Challenge Event News
Due to the recent surge in the COVID-19 pandemic, the club’s 2021 Cardinal Classic competition has been postponed. We are delighted to have feedback on conducting a 2021 Club Challenge Event in February, and limited to SCNV members only. As of 12/5, we have 36 responses with the following details:

  • Jumps Challenge = 20
  • Spins Challenge = 16
  • Footwork Challenge = 9
  • Exhibitions = 29
  • Critiques = 25
  • Interpretive = 1

For those whom haven’t responded yet, please complete the Club Challenge Event online survey by Tuesday, 12/15.

Junior Board News
Due to the COVID pandemic restrictions, there are no plans to host the traditional SCNV Holiday Party or Event. However, a skater Valentine’s Day event is in the works for 2021. Please contact your Junior Board leaders for more details.
