Graduating Seniors Program 3/15
USFS has extended the Graduating Seniors Program to 3/15.

The Graduating Seniors Program recognizes individuals graduating from high school who continued their training in figure skating while pursuing their academic studies. The program honors qualified graduates for their achievements during high school through the presentation of a certificate to the skater during a school function or recognition opportunity.

There are four level designations awarded within the program: bronze, silver, gold and platinum. Individuals receive awards based on their highest skating achievement (test or competition) during high school as noted on their application.

This year, the deadline has been extended to 3/15. More information is available here, and click here to apply.

High School Skating Team Interest 3/17
Hello High School Skaters! Are you interested in learning about what skating for an area high school team means? USFSA is hosting a zoom teleconference call to learn more about what it takes to participate in an area high school team and the types of competitions that might occur. This is a fun way to skate with other high school aged skaters in our region. We already have a parent coordinator, a team coach and interested student leaders. This does not take the place of your current coach but is a chance to skate at High School area and National competitions.

The zoom meeting will occur on 3/17 at 7:00 pm. Please email DCAreaHighSchoolSkaters@gmail.com for the zoom link. Come listen to the information and learn more.
