Scholar Award Deadline 9/23
Submissions for the Scholar Award program is now closed. Notifications will be sent to our academic scholar award winners by 9/25. These winners will be recognized at the Send-Offs exhibitions at Fairfax Ice Arena (FIA) on 10/3.

Send Offs 10/3
The Send-Offs exhibition schedule has been released, and all skaters are reminded to submit their music via Entryeeze (under the Send-Offs “test session”) by 9/26. You may also send your music (MP3/M4A) file via email to music@scnv.org. If your music is not received in time, it will not be in our playlist and the skater will not have the option to skate with music.

Junior Board News
All SCNV members, 8th – 12th grade, are invited to come to the Jr. Board interest meeting, Monday, September 27 from 6:30pm – 7:30pm at Fairfax Ice Arena. Returning and new members can learn more about Jr. Board, meet the 2021-2022 Board members, learn about some of the events Jr. Board has planned for this year, and help make some fun send-off goody bags! We hope to see you!

Club Ice News
Club Ice continues for discounted Freestyle sessions on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings, plus a coach led Solo Pattern Dance (SPD) class with Christine Valente open to all levels. And, what a great way to practice before test sessions! All club dates including club ice are posted on our live club calendar (see here).

Please note that a completed application including payment is needed for successful registration. Club Ice subscribers enjoy additional benefits as Full members at SCNV. Further details can be found here. Questions? Please contact clubice@scnv.org.

Blue Ridge Classic & U.S. Figure Skating Championship Series Presented by Toyota – Volunteers Needed!
It’s time to head over to Leesburg next month to make our competitions safe, memorable and fun! Volunteers are needed to run both events. Please click here for instructions on how to volunteer through U.S. Figure Skating’s Event Management System (EMS). Click here to see the skating schedule for the Blue Ridge Classis, and here for the Championship Series (volunteers do not need to purchase spectator ticket to watch skating, and we are expecting some Olympic Team hopefuls!) Please contact thuthuy@scnv.org for assistance.
