Cardinal Classic News
US Figure Skating has a new requirement that competitions submit a medical plan and provide onsite medical personnel during Series competitions. We are conducting a survey of resources we have among Club members and parents. If you are a licensed physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, nurse, chiropractor, physical therapist, athletic trainer or massage therapist, could you please send Melissa a note at melissa@scnv.org.

At this point, we are building a list of contacts but are hoping to identify a body of medical support volunteers willing to volunteer for several hours during the Cardinal Classic, June 2-4, 2023. We are also looking for one individual to lead the Medical Committee on the LOC (the Club committee which leads planning for the competition).

Did You Know?!
Registration for the 2023 Cyber Challenge is officially open!

The 2023 Cyber Challenge is a virtual competition opportunity held from January through March 2023 specifically for high school skaters who are a part of a high school skating team (school-affiliated club) registered with U.S. Figure Skating.

What events are offered? Teams can participate in team maneuvers and/or artistic free skate.

Who can participate? Skaters who are enrolled in high school and are part of a registered school-affiliated club.

What if I don’t have a registered school-affiliated club? No problem! You can start one with other skaters at your high school or within your rink if you are the only skater at your school. To learn how to register a SAC, click here.

How do I register for the 2023 Cyber Challenge? One representative from your team can register for both team maneuvers and artistic free skate events separately. Registration information for Team Maneuvers can be found here and registration for artistic free skate can be found here.
