Competitor Parent Education Seminar – 3/21
SCNV will be hosting a Competitor Parent Education Seminar for Club members on preparing for competitions. Competition Chair Melissa Mahle will present practical information for parents of skaters who are new to competitions and parents who would like a better understanding of the differences between types of events – well balanced verses Excel, for example. We’ll discuss some do’s and don’ts, and tactics on how to manage competition anxiety and encourage good sportsmanship. We will have a Q&A section, so bring your questions! The Parent Education Seminar will be held on Tuesday March 21st 8:00pm via Zoom. Please contact melissa@scnv.org for the Zoom teleconference link.
