Club Ice News
For Sunday Freestyle Ice, a kind reminder that there are only three (3) dates left: 3/26, 5/14 and 5/21. All members can pay $18 to drop-in anytime (non-members limited to 3 times) at either Sunday or Monday Freestyle or coach led sessions. Details found on our Club Ice web page.
For next season, we request your feedback on how we can improve Club Ice! Please send your comments to clubice@scnv.org. Meanwhile, here are answers to popular questions received over the years:
- Why doesn’t Club Ice have better/convenient times? Answer: Ice rinks sell ice time based on availability/pricing. We compete with other programs (i.e. group lessons, hockey leagues, day camps, etc.) which generate higher revenue. Having more club ice skaters will help.
- Can the club offer Club Ice elsewhere? Answer: Yes! But our home rink coaches have teaching restrictions, and we need enough skaters (i.e. 10 or more) to make this happen.
- Can Club Ice offer more programming? Answer: Yes! We’ll continue Ice Dance, but tell us if you want coach led classes on stroking, edgework, jumps, choreography, off-ice and more!
