RFSC Ice Dreams Skating Workshop – 5/6
Richmond Figure Skating Club is hosting a skater’s workshop with National Champion and Olympian Gracie Gold along with James Hernandez at Skatenation Plus on Saturday, 5/6. Contact rfsctreasury@gmail.com for payment/details.

SCNV Annual Meeting – 5/24
Please join us virtually (via zoom teleconference) for our annual meeting. Hear what the club has done this season, and our plans for the next. We need current members to attend to conduct official business, so please join us at 7:30 PM (zoom details TBA).

SCNV Annual Awards Banquet RSVP – 5/31
The SCNV annual banquet is a time to celebrate last season and look ahead to the new one with skating friends old and new. We invite all members and your family to join us on June 11th.

Cost for the banquet is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. (Parents, siblings, family, friends and skaters from other club who do not have their own SCNV membership).

Payment for the banquet will be made through the SCNV Store and must be received by May 31st at 11:59 pm. You must RSVP here and pay on the SCNV website store to be registered to attend the banquet. Please be sure that the number and type of ticket(s) (Member/ non-member) selected to attend matches your payment for attendees to the banquet.

Please send your pictures or videos (practice, off ice, test, competitions, with your friends, with your coaches) from the 2022-2023 season to socialmedia@scnv.org for our slide video. Deadline is May 31, 2023 at 11:59 pm (EST)!!! Pictures or videos sent after the deadline will not be included in our video presentation!!!

Cardinal Classic – 6/2 to 6/4
SCNV will be hosting the annual Cardinal Classic Competition on Friday, June 2nd to Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at Prince William Ice Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. This is a 3-day event that includes Singles, Showcase, Compete USA, and Theater on Ice events.

Celebrate your skaters by sending a “Good Luck” message, to be printed in the Cardinal Classic program. Or make a bigger splash with a half page or full page ad. Click here for more information and deadlines.

And to make this event successful, WE cannot do it without YOUR support! It takes many hands to make this event run smoothly. We encourage you to get involved, have fun, and learn more about our annual competition while watching some fantastic skating throughout the day.

Please review the available jobs here, and indicate your interest by selecting one or more jobs. Once the competition schedule is released, shifts selection will be opened for sign up.

Summer Testing News
Summer test sessions at FIA on 7/9 and 8/13 are now available for registration. Please check with your coach and plan ahead. See club testing for details, and contact testing@scnv.org or thuthuy@scnv.org for help.

Club Ice News
For Sunday Freestyle ice, a kind reminder that there are only two (2) dates left in May: 5/14 and 5/21. SPD class testing invitations sent for the 6/11 test session at FIA. All members can pay $18 to drop-in anytime (non-members limited to 3 times) at either Sunday or Monday Freestyle, or coach led sessions. Details found on our Club Ice web page. Questions?
