Our Club Synchro competition, The Stars and Stripes Synchro Invitational (SASSI) is November 4th, 2023, from 8:00AM to 8:00PM at the Prince William Ice Center (PWIC). We are in need of volunteers from the SCNV to help in some crucial areas. Please consider volunteering for one of the jobs listed in our Sign up Genius. Here is the link:
Stars & Stripes Synchro Invitational 2023 – Sign up Genius.

Please review the available volunteer slots below and click on the button to sign up. We are asking each family to choose at least two time slots to help make our competition a success! Please make sure that your time slot does not overlap with your skater’s performance time. All volunteer slots are for ages 16/Junior in high school and up, unless noted or accompanied by an adult volunteer. Thank you!

Your volunteer hours will be logged and you may use them toward membership discounts for your 2024 SCNV membership. Thank you in advance for your help!

Adult Stroking Seminar – 11/5

Spots are quickly filling for the Adult Stroking Seminar on November 5th at Prince William Ice Center (PWIC). This half day event will include a 40 minute stroking class, an off-ice ballet class, a 40-minute practice ice, and a skater education session with a USFS Judge about skating and competing in the IJS as an adult. You can register now here!

While there is no test requirement, skaters should be age eligible for the adult test track, and comfortably be able to skate using forward and backward crossovers. Reach out to adultskating@scnv.org if you have questions about the seminar.

Coaches Appreciation – 11/11

To all our SCNV coaches, we have an appreciation event by invitation only set for 11/11 at Paradise Springs Winery. Please RSVP directly to natalie@scnv.org by 11/8.
