The Junior Board will have their kickoff meeting for the 2025-26 season this Saturday, 8/23 at 11:00 AM in the FIA Off-Ice Room. There will be introductions, ice breakers and elections of JB Officers. For candidates for the JB President, Vice President, Secretary and Social Media Director, please come prepared with a short speech.

National Blades will hold their annual Stars and Stripes Synchronized Skating Invitational on 11/1 at PWIC.

The rumors are true! Club Ice is moving from Mondays to Saturday mornings from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM. We are planning two (2) Freestyle (FS) sessions of 45 minutes each to attract more coaches and skaters to club ice. We hope you will join us on Saturdays, and/or on Sundays on our 40 minute FS session from 11:20 AM to 12:00 PM.
Club Ice will begin 9/13 with the Saturday FS timeslot ending on 3/21 and Sunday FS timeslot ending on 6/7. Please note there is no club ice during the month of April 2026 due to the 2025 FIA ISI competition.

The Columbia Figure Skating Club is proud to host the American Ice Theatre Seminar. The seminar will include 6 Ways of the Spine™ body awareness, skating skills (edges, power), performance & expression techniques, storytelling, tools for improvisation, and choreography skills.
This is a one-day (6 hours of on and off-ice training) seminar that will take place on August 31st, 12:20 PM – 7:00 PM.
The seminar includes Adult Track and a Youth Track.
This seminar is recommended for skaters age 8+ and Freeskate 1+(forward & backward crossovers, 3-turns, c-steps (mohawks), 1-foot spins).
The program is built on trust and exploration on ice. There will be no audience during the seminar, except for the final on-ice session of the grand finale.
All sessions will be led by AIT Faculty Members:
- Kate McSwain – Co-Executive Director of AIT
- Jacqueline Benson – Co-Vice President of AIT
- Cameron Claire – AIT Minneapolis Assistant Director
Private Lessons with Kate and Cameron will be available on Monday morning, September 1. Sign up for that after registration for the seminar!
