SCNV is proud to partner with Gardens FSC to host our first Showcase competition in the DMV area on May 8, 2027. We are especially excited that this event will be part of the inaugural National Showcase Series.
This is a wonderful opportunity for SCNV to help bring more Showcase opportunities to skaters in our region while working together with another local club to grow and strengthen our skating community.
As with all successful competitions, we will need the support of our amazing volunteers! We will be looking for members and parents to help with competition planning as well as a variety of volunteer roles leading up to and during the event.
If you are interested in joining the planning committee or would like to volunteer, please let us know. No previous competition experience is necessary. There will be many different ways to help, and we would love to have more of our SCNV families involved. Please contact thuthuy@scnv.org for more information.

US Figure Skating Needs You!
Have you envisioned yourself up on the judging podium? Do you dream of becoming The Voice of figure skating? Do you wonder what actually happens in the back room that produces scores?
SCNV is on its annual recruiting drive for new US Figure Skating officials. We cannot run competitions without officials, and those officials are developed from the ranks of skaters and parents. That means you!
