The Skating Club of Northern Virginia (SCNV), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1975, is a member club of U.S. Figure Skating (USFS), the governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. Our Club is USFS member number 1615. SCNV is dedicated to supporting skaters of all levels, and offers a warm and friendly atmosphere for skaters and their families.

In addition to this web site, SCNV maintains two bulletin boards at Fairfax Ice Arena: one between the lesson desk and the skate rental counter, and one inside the rink outside of the coach’s lounge. SCNV maintains one bulletin board at Prince William Ice Center on the opposite wall facing the rental skate counter near the Olympic ice sheet.
