A huge thanks to all our volunteers for their time and care, to our hospitality donors for their generosity and to our skaters for representing SCNV with fantastic skating and good sportsmanship! Members who have qualifying volunteer hours at 10 hours or more over the 2025-2026 season receive 20% discount on their 2026-2027 season membership with SCNV. Check your EntryEeze profile to see your volunteer hours – and email Melissa at melissa@scnv.org if you believe your hours are incorrect.
Remaining Sunday Club Ice Freestyle (FS) dates are 6/7 plus 6/14 (see details below) after the test session. Drop-in’s are $20 cash/check, or $18 via your Entryeeze member account. Questions? Contact clubice@scnv.org.
Bonus Club Ice June 14 & “Show Us Your Spins”
On Sunday, June 14, we will have a special edition of Club Ice from 10:45–11:45 a.m. at Fairfax Ice Arena. This session is offered at no charge.
Also, SCNV members entering qualifying competitions (championship preliminary and up) can sign up for a special “Show Us Your Spins” critique during club ice. A U.S. Figure Skating judge and technical specialist will be on hand to provide feedback on level features and grade of execution. Coaches are welcome to attend but are not required.

This Summer, Prioritize Testing
This summer, SCNV is pleased to offer two in-person test sessions at Fairfax Ice Arena. Singles, Skating Skills, Solo and Partnered Pattern Dance will be offered, for standard, adult and adaptive tracks.

Virginia Ice Theatre is excited to share that we will be sending five teams to the 2026 National Theatre on Ice Competition in Irvine, California, taking place June 22–27.
Representing our organization on the national stage will be our Adaptive, Juvenile, Open Ensemble, Open Adult, and Senior teams. We are grateful for the support of the Skating Club of Northern Virginia and the many people who help make opportunities like this possible. We look forward to representing our skating community in Irvine and sharing our experiences following the event.
