Interested in getting to know other adult skaters? Well, here’s your chance! Drop in on one of the 3 freestyle sessions scheduled for Sunday morning at SkateQuest in Reston and look for an adult skater in a SCNV Jacket!

This is an extremely informal meet up for adult skaters, it isn’t organized through the rink at all, so you’ll have to register for the freestyle session on your own, as you normally would. We’re starting small to gauge interest. We’ve also invited adults from Washington Figure Skating Club to join us.

After skating, the group can head up the road to Lake Anne Coffee House & Wine Bar for a few snacks, maybe a coffee and a chat about adult skating!

If we get a contingent of adult skaters interested, we can look into more formal options — maybe even classes from coaches, if we’re lucky.
