SCNV Memberships: Renew/Join Today for
the 2016-2017 Season
time to renew your SCNV/U.S. Figure Skating membership for the
2016-2017 season. Current memberships expire on June 30, 2016.
Welcome! Please follow the steps below to join.
1. Visit the SCNV Membership and Testing site: http://www.scnv.org/Membership&Testing
2. New members select “Apply for Membership”
3. Existing members select “Access my Account”
4. If purchasing memberships for more than one family member,
select Primary Home Club or Introductory Home Club (as appropriate) for
the first skater and then select Subsequent Family Membership for each
additional family member.
please remember that skaters under 18 years old who plan to participate
in SCNV Club Ice or Virginia Ice Theatre of Fairfax must also have a
parent member of SCNV.
Please renew your memberships as soon as
possible, especially if you are planning to test or compete this

SCNV Junior Board Interest Meeting
will hold the first interest meeting for the Junior Board for the
2016-2017 Season on Sunday, July 17 at 2:00pm at the home of member
Kimmie Nguyen. Contact Stephanie Haynos
for the address or with any questions. Skaters in 8th through 12th
grades are welcome to participate.
The Junior Board is intended to promote camaraderie, add voices and
provide leadership opportunities for our teenage skating members. The
members of the Junior Board will practice responsibility, compassion,
dedication, time-management and other positive traits through their
efforts to assist the Club with activities and new ideas.
Scholar Award Program
recognizes skaters who are training and competing for the Club while
maintaining excellence in their scholastic endeavors through the
Scholar Award Program. The club will recognize those skaters earning a
3.5 or above grade point average in their coursework. The application
