Scholar Awards Deadline – 8/1
For our member skaters that have completed 7th grade and up, it’s time to recognize your academic achievements with our annual Scholar Awards to be held at our summer picnic. Click HERE for our online application, and upload your PDF copy of your skater’s report card with computed GPA. Hard deadline is 8/1. Questions? Please contact scholarship@scnv.org for assistance.

Club Summer Picnic – 8/27

US Figure Skating Scholarships Deadline – 8/31
Are You eligible to receive funding for the 2023-24 competitive skating season? U.S. Figure Skating will distribute more than $750,000 in the upcoming year to qualified athletes.

Stars and Stripes Synchro Invitational – 11/4 to 11/5

Jr. Board News
Events – The Junior Board is wrapping up this season with some fun events! Look forward to information on a SCNV club-wide Spirit Week coming in early August!
Jr. Board Elections (2023-2024) – Also, the current Junior Board will be holding their 2023-2024 Jr. Board officer elections on August 11th, and will be hosting a information meeting on Thursday, August 3rd at Fairfax Ice Arena (time TBD in the evening) for those interested in running.
**If you are interested in running but haven’t filled out an interest form, please email Alexandra Williams at scnvjrboard@gmail.com NO LATER THAN Saturday, July 29th at 5:00pm for the form and more info.**
The August 3rd meeting will be with the Jr. Board advisor, Alexandra Williams, and the current Jr. Board officers to provide background on the officer roles and answer any questions.
