Graduating Seniors Award for Class of 2021
The Graduating Seniors Application is now available! Recognize graduating high school seniors in your club with the Graduating Seniors award. Skaters of all levels are eligible to apply for recognition. The application is available here. The deadline to submit is March 1, 2021; those wishing to list the award on their college applications should submit their application by Oct. 4, 2020.

Join the Axel Club
Learn to Skate USA and U.S. Figure Skating members who land their Axel are encouraged to apply to the Axel Club. Inductees will receive an official Axel Club membership certificate, a recognition gift, listing on the Axel Club Hall of Fame page on Learn to Skate USA and U.S. Figure Skating websites and the opportunity to be featured in Axel Club marketing materials.

Members who landed their Axel more than one year ago are encouraged to join the Axel Emeritus Club, a recognition program celebrating skaters who could successfully land the Axel jump at one point in time. To join, skaters must be either an active member of Learn to Skate USA or current full member of U.S. Figure Skating and name a witness who can verify that the skater could successfully execute an Axel. Scholar Award News
As of the 9/25 deadline, our club scholars count is up to a new record of 27. Our official roster is posted under the Club Awards page on our website. Meanwhile, we are working on an  event announcement to recognize our 2020-2021 season scholars!

Club Ice News
Club Ice has successfully started. Every Sunday morning and Monday evening during the 2020-21 season, we hold sessions at Fairfax Ice Arena. More information on the Club Ice page, including online registration and medical release forms, and payment via your Entryeeze club account.

2021 Championship Series Presented by Toyota 12/1-6

We need you to help our club! Many opportunities to choose from including serving as a committee chair, and helping at our test sessions and competitions for you or your own skater’s experience. We value teamwork and your ideas to make SCNV great! Please use our Board & Committees web page listing to reach out.

TOI Auditions with VIT at PWIC 10/11, 10/18, 10/25
At PWIC, our Virginia Ice Theatre team has announced open auditions for the COVID impacted 2020-2021 season on 10/11, 10/18 and 10/25 from 5:15 PM until 9:30 PM each Sunday. There are three (3) groups with staggered start times by MITF level/age (i.e. 9 and under, 10 to 18, and over 18 years). Remember to renew your USFS team club membership before your arrival. There is a non-refundable $100 team audition fee. PWIC rink requires daily temperature checks and contact tracing/medical survey forms for all skaters/visitors.
