Annual Banquet 7/10
We are excited about our upcoming SCNV banquet and look forward to celebrating with our skaters and their families!
The pavilion provides decent cover from the elements and you won’t be walking on unpaved surfaces. It is not the country club but it is also not out on a grassy field!
Dress comfortably for the weather! But for those that want to dress up a bit more, that’s ok too! Sunscreen shouldn’t be necessary because the area is sufficiently covered. You might bring bug repellant so you have it if you need it as the Lake Accotink pavilion is surrounded by trees.
We plan to have music so if you have a favorite song (to sing-along and dance to), please email music@scnv.org.
If you have not submitted your photos for the video montage but would like to, we can still take a few more. Please send them to renee@scnv.org no later than Tuesday July 5th.
If you are a 2021 high school graduate and have not received and/or responded to the emails we have been sending out, please do so!

Blue Ridge Classic – 10/23 – 10/24

In conjunction with Ion FSC at Ion ITC in Leesburg, VA, SCNV’s next Non-Qualifying competition is scheduled for Oct. 23 – 24, 2021. This is the weekend prior to the 2022 USFS Championship Series Leesburg held also at Ion ITC from 10/27 to 10/30. Please see our Blue Ridge Classic web page for current information with more news soon!
Did you know?!
In our regular test session, you can use Entryeeze to upload your program music (in mp3 or m4a file format) for Solo Free Dance, Singles Free Skate, etc. events. Goodbye 1980’s CDs! Please remember to bring a back-up of your music on your portable device (e.g. smartphone). And yes, the FIA still has a CD player.
