Virginia Ice Theatre (VIT) is bringing back new and improved Custom Skate Towels for pre-order sales and pick up at Cardinal Classic. All new Skating silhouette designs and new inventory of 12”x16” brightly colored towels to choose from. Super absorbent and high quality!
Personalize your towel(s) by picking out favorite colors, designs, and add a name or statement. Don’t wait for the sewing machine line at Cardinal, pick up your ready-to-go, pre-washed, custom order at the VIT table at Cardinal. The Cardinal Classic 2026 is around the corner, and we are seeking donations of desserts and snacks for the hospitality rooms. The home baked goods were a great hit last year. Knowing that not everyone is a baker, we are mixing with specific store-purchased desserts– all clearly marked on our Signup Genius found here. If you will be adding nuts, just leave a note with the baked goods.

Show support to your skater and friends with a Good Luck message! Your custom design, including a photo, will be displayed in the rink lobby on a digital screen that will run continuously throughout the competition. Click here for more information and to purchase this very special acknowledgement.
The Cardinal Classic competition offers TEST Credit to skaters who wish to advance to the next free skate level. In lieu of a test session, skaters are able to use their protocol from this competition. You must register for the Cardinal Classic at a level above your current Singles test level and meet the minimum passing scores. Talk to your coach! You can purchase your Test Credit through the SCNV web store here through May 15.

Saturday Club ice is now done for the season, and we were glad to see many new skaters and coaches there! Please note that there is no club ice during the month of April. Remaining Sunday Club Ice Freestyle (FS) dates are 5/17, 5/24, 5/31 and 6/7. Drop-in’s are $20 cash/check, or $18 via your Entryeeze member account.
