Amelia Shuster bio

I joined SCNV in 2015, and have had the honor to support the club in a variety of roles. I have served on the Cardinal Classic Local Organizing Committee since 2017 in various positions, including Registrar, Hospitality, and Fundraising. I have also volunteered at many test sessions.

I grew up skating with my family, and began taking group lessons at age 11. I have skated and coached with several skating clubs across the country, including Blade and Edge Figure Skating Club of Omaha, Northfield Skating School, Music City Figure Skating Club (now the Scott Hamilton Figure Skating Club), and the Figure Skating Club of Charleston (SC). I work in Fairfax as an audiologist, with a special interest in cochlear implants. Outside of work and skating, I enjoy Pilates, running, and baking.

If elected, I would use my lifelong experience as a skater to support all SCNV skaters and families, especially the adult skating community.
