Jonathon Hodgkinson is an accomplished ice dancer, coach, and longtime member of the Northern Virginia skating community. Originally from Nottingham, England, Jonathon is a former international professional figure skater and UK national champion, with a distinguished competitive and performance career that includes touring with Disney On Ice.

Today, Jonathon is deeply committed to the development of figure skating in the region. Alongside his wife, he coaches in Northern Virginia, from beginners to competitive skaters—fostering both technical excellence and a lifelong love of the sport. As an established ice dancer and coach, he brings a global perspective, high-performance experience, and a passion for mentorship to every skater he works with.

Jonathon is an active member of the local skating community and is dedicated to supporting the growth, inclusivity, and success of the Skating Club of Northern Virginia. His experience as both an elite athlete and coach gives him a well-rounded understanding of the needs of skaters, families, and programs at all levels.

Outside of the rink, Jonathon works as a Senior Loan Officer with Embrace Home Loans, where he helps individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. He lives in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife and daughter, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.

With a strong foundation in competitive skating, a dedication to coaching, and a deep commitment to the local skating community, Jonathon is passionate about giving back to the sport and helping it thrive for future generations.
