Adult Skating News

Reminder that WFSC’s New Year’s Invitational is coming up on January 4th and 5th in Haymarket, VA. If you’re interested in volunteering, please take a moment to review the sign-up sheet at: Sign-up Genius

Registration for Eastern Adult Sectional Championships and Adult National Championships is opening December 15th in USFS EMS! There was a webinar on Thursday, the recording of which will be hosted and shared shortly, to go over the upcoming season. The biggest takeaway is that registration is opening in just two days and will be open until February 1st! There’s always a non-qualifying competition at Eastern Sectionals for most levels of skaters and anyone from Adult bronze and up can register to compete at Nationals – no qualifying necessary. There is a championship round for Adult Silver and above –you’d have to qualify at Sectionals to compete in the Championship at Nationals. Could this be your first year competing at Sectionals? Think about it! Reach out to the Adult Committee (adultskating@scnv.org) if you have any questions or just want to hear more.

Another on-ice Adult Class is coming in February! Mark your calendars, on Sunday February 9, 2025 we’ll be hosting another on-ice adult class at Fairfax Ice Arena. More details coming soon.
