Jr. Board Valentine’s Day Party – 2/13
Jr. Board invites all SCNV members to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Sunday, February 13 from 3:00pm – 6:00pm at the Providence Presbyterian Church, located at 9019 Little River Turnpike in Fairfax, VA. We will have games, crafts and a whole lot of fun!

To be together in the safest manner possible for everyone, all guests are asked to present either their vaccination card or a negative COVID-19 test (taken the day of the event; a picture on your cell phone is sufficient). Guests must also wear a mask throughout the event. Food and drinks will not be served. Beverages may be consumed outside the building.

Jr. Board has hours of activities planned for all ages! Everyone will go home with a sweet treat! We hope to see you there!

Scott Hamilton Skaters Education Fund – 2/17
The Scott Hamilton Skaters Education Fund was established to assist eligible current and former amateur and professional ice skaters who dedicated their lives to skating and now wish to pursue a college education.

Scholarships are offered each year for full-time undergraduate study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice. Eligible individuals are skaters that have competed at least once in a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition at the novice level or higher in either men’s, ladies, ice dance or pairs.

This scholarship program is administered through U.S. Figure Skating and scholarships are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin. A total of $290,000 will be awarded, ranging from $4,000 to $8,000 per recipient. Scholarship recipients will be announced in June of 2022.

Applications are currently open, and the deadline to apply is Feb. 17, 2022. For more information and to apply, click HERE.
